Adding memory to the HP Zhan 66 Pro G11 is straightforward if you know the steps.
After removing the back cover, you’ll see a large silver plate. Simply pull it off—don’t worry about breaking it unless you apply excessive force.
The back cover is secured by just four screws, with no hidden screws under the rubber feet.
To remove the back cover, start pulling from the hinge side of the laptop.
A memory module with a 4800 MHz frequency should work well. However, some CPUs don’t support higher-frequency memory, so check your CPU specifications to confirm compatibility.
Note that some G11 models might not have an additional hard disk slot, even if the product page claims otherwise. If you can’t locate the slot, refer to the specifications or contact customer service.
